Independence from Washington's Bureaucracy
Our founding fathers had a vision, one where the states had a certain amount of independence from the federal government. While the federal government certainly has a role to play, each of our nation’s great states have their own culture, and history, and this is perhaps more evident in Utah than nearly anywhere else. The Great State of Utah, and her people, respect the rule of law, and the federal government, but also desire to maintain control of their own destiny. One that respects the past, anticipates the future, honors our institutions, protects our liberties and guarantees our individual rights. Danny Drew is committed to supporting the Federal Government in its constitutionally appropriate roles, and to maintaining Utah’s right to self-governance where appropriate, for the benefit of all Utahans.
